New Leo Edwards Letter and Picture! [12.30.07]

Imagine my excitement when I was contacted by someone who had an original letter from Leo. Nancy Fike writes, "I was going through my Mother's things and came across a letter from Mr. Edwards to her. She had written him and he was replying to her letter. It's a very nice letter. It's dated 1938. My Mother was a fan. My Mother was 16 when she got the letter. Her father, my Grandfather loved to write and read alot. My mother grew up with a love of reading especially detective mysteries. My grandfather has done quite alot of writing and my brothers and I have managed to find and keep everything he wrote. He has written a couple of novels, his bio, and a book of poems."
The letter appears to be a form letter but with a personal note on the bottom and also included a signed, wallet-sized version of Leo's Grosset
and Dunlap promotional picture. View scans of the envelope, letter and picture.
